ABC Art Baja California 2026 transforms Baja California Sur into a major circuit of contemporary creation.

ABC Art Baja California 2026 transforms Baja California Sur into a major circuit of contemporary creation.

From March 18 to April 5, 2026, the state of Baja California Sur solidified its position as one of the most dynamic hubs of contemporary art with the fourth edition of ABC Art Baja California. The event unfolded its program across three key locations—San José del Cabo, Todos Santos, and La Paz—creating a journey that combined territory, community, and artistic practice.

Founded by Zélika García and Karim Reza, the festival is conceived as a platform connecting artists, galleries, studios, institutions, and independent spaces. This ecosystem fosters dialogue between emerging and established artists, generating a cultural fabric that transcends traditional exhibition formats.

The program is structured around five axes—ABC PLATFORM, ABC HALL, ABC COURTYARD, ABC SOUND, and ABC LOCAL—which activate both public and private spaces through disciplines ranging from visual arts to music and design. Workshops, exhibitions, performances, and collaborations make up a diverse program that emphasizes experimentation and direct interaction with the public.

Beyond its exhibition aspect, ABC Art Baja California proposes a hybrid model that combines exhibiting, selling artwork, opening studios, and live artistic production. This combination aims to broaden access to contemporary art and foster diverse participation within the regional cultural scene.

The 2026 edition will bring together artists, galleries and spaces from different cities in Mexico and from around the world, consolidating the festival as a key meeting point on the global art map and reinforcing the role of Baja California Sur as a territory of creation, exchange and cultural projection.
