For the first time, ArtsLibris will be at the FIL in Guadalajara . With 23 publishers, the Barcelona fair is landing in Jalisco in a particularly symbolic edition, in which Barcelona shines as the Guest City of Honor. After presenting the project in the 2024 edition —still within the official Spanish program—, ArtsLibris, which this year celebrates sixteen years of existence, is once again crossing the ocean with a range of proposals that explore the limits of the Catalan artist's book, photobook and self-publishing. This creative constellation is joined by voices and projects from all over the State and from various corners of Latin America, weaving a common space where the book becomes a territory of experimentation and encounter.

ArtsLibris was born with the desire to promote and give visibility to the publishing activity and the agents who work in this field, still little represented within the FIL today. The arrival of ArtsLibris aims to fill this void, putting the focus on a creative ecosystem that often lives on the margins but is essential for understanding contemporary book practices.
As a leading trade fair for self-publishing, artist publications and digital formats in the Iberian Peninsula and southern Europe, ArtsLibris has consolidated its own space and extensions in Madrid and Portugal within the framework of ARCO. This journey endorses it as an essential meeting point for publishers, artists and readers looking for new ways of conceiving the book, and reinforces its role as a platform that connects diverse sensibilities and innovative projects on an international scale.
