Josep M. Mejan presents his new work Evolution 23-25 at Espai Art 60
From July 19 to August 31, the Espai Art 60 in Sant Joan de les Abadesses presents the new temporary exhibition by the artist Josep M Mejan entitled Evolution 23-25.
This exhibition by Mejan captivates with its connection with nature and light, as it includes a selection of a total of 13 paintings inspired by the painter's imaginary landscapes measuring 1.40 x 80 cm and 55 x 55 cm, which evoke the mountains and fields of different places and the town of Llanars.

Mejan defines himself as “a colorist”, and pays special attention to the play of light, which gives great depth to the vitality of each of his works. Light is once again the protagonist of his paintings, which transforms each landscape, turning it into a unique visual experience in colors that transmit emotion and movement to the viewer. The result is these compositions about nature that become almost a state of mind, and the town of Llanars, often reinterpreted, becomes a space of endless inspiration.
According to Mejan, “once the temporary exhibition ends, it will move to my premises at 44 Valencia Street.” Visiting hours at Espai Art 60 are Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m./5 p.m. to 8 p.m. On Sundays it is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
