Under the title Tarannà, the Moscardó brothers present an exhibition that reflects their vitalist and emotional view of the world around them. With personal styles, but a shared sensitivity, the two artists offer a visual journey full of color, expressiveness and warmth. The works on display stand out for capturing moments of everyday life with a post-impressionist perspective, showing urban scenes, landscapes full of life and everyday moments transformed into art. As Xavier Senon points out in the exhibition catalog, the Moscardó brothers are “artists with a solid career and great pictorial skill, capable of capturing a moment and reinterpreting it with delicacy and emotion”. Their work transmits authenticity and humanism, with a rich chromatic palette and brushstrokes full of life.
Born in Barcelona in 1953, Josep and Ramon Moscardó have followed parallel paths in the world of art, maintaining a close link with drawing from life and a constant fidelity to a way of understanding painting as an honest and direct expression of lived reality. Throughout their career, they have starred in numerous exhibitions both in Catalonia and abroad.
Tarannà, which can be visited until July 18, is, therefore, an artistic conversation between two brothers who have managed to keep their passion for creativity intact.
