Since its first edition in 2001, the OFFF festival has been consolidating and gaining respect in the digital art sector, becoming a space where disciplines, accents and ideas from all over the world converge. This year, OFFF celebrates its 25th anniversary and does so faithfully to its spirit of connecting people through creativity. The festival continues to open doors, betting on innovation and giving space to both big names and new voices.
From May 8 to 10, the DHub will host a new edition with seventy renowned guests, such as Anna Ginsburg , DixonBaxi , Ines Alpha , Brosmind , Marshmallow Laser Feast , Mat Voyce or Territory Studio , who will share their visions and processes with the audience.
This time, however, OFFF is not limited to the walls of the Disseny Hub. With the OFFF label in the city, the festival is spreading throughout Barcelona and inviting everyone to be part of it and participate. There will be free activities designed to make this digital and creative universe more accessible. One of the highlights will be the Plaça Design Market , an outdoor space with stalls that combine contemporary crafts and a wide variety of design proposals, both local and international.
At night, the DHub façade will become a giant screen thanks to The Screen , a mapping proposal promoted by BARCO. For three days, animated projections created by artists from around the world will be visible, transforming the evening into a collective visual experience.
Also noteworthy is the NXT project, an initiative that gives voice to new talents. Students from twelve design and creativity schools in Barcelona will show their proposals in an open exhibition and make presentations to explain them firsthand.
To round off this anniversary edition, OFFF debuts a new graphic image. The new design, by the COLLINS agency, seeks to reflect the balance between experience and vitality. An identity that accompanies the festival towards a new stage, without giving up the spirit that has made it grow.
