The Cervantes Institute in Paris , with the support of the Cultural Office of the Spanish Embassy in France, has launched a project dedicated to identifying and giving visibility to Spanish visual artists currently working in the city. This initiative stems from the growing interest that Paris has generated among Spanish creators, especially during the last decade, in which new spaces dedicated to the production, exhibition and promotion of contemporary art have proliferated.

As the first action within this project, the Cervantes presents the exhibition Here and Now, a collective show that brings together ten emerging Spanish artists who are part of the current Parisian cultural dynamic: Bianca Argimón, Rocío Belenguer, Gala Hernández López, Ángela Jiménez Durán, Solimán López, Francesc Ruiz Abad, Clara Sánchez Sala, Borja Santomé Rodríguez, Marcos Uriondo and Sarah Viguer Ceribá .

The exhibition can be visited from April 22 to July 12 at the headquarters of the Cervantes Institute in Paris, which thus reinforces its commitment to the promotion of contemporary creation and offers an opportunity to get closer to the work of a new generation of artists who develop their practice outside the State, but in constant dialogue with European cultural circuits.
