"Todo bajo el sol" by Ana Penyas, prize of the Association of Critics and Disseminators of Comics

Todo bajo el sol, by Ana Penyas (Valencia, 1987), has won the prize of the Association of Critics and Disseminators of Comics (ACDCómic) for the best work of 2021 and Mayte Alvarado (Badajoz, 1978), author of La isla, has received the award for emerging author. The association announced this Monday the winners of the IV ACDComic Award. Winners will participate in a free publication that the association publishes and distributes in bookstores and libraries. It will have an unpublished double cover by Penyas and Alvarado, as well as interviews and reviews. In Todo bajo el sol, Penyas reflects the human drama that has been hidden behind urban speculation and sun and beach tourism on the Levant coast from the 1960s to the present day.
