Azkuna Zentro – Alhóndiga Bilbao presents 'Anónima', the largest retrospective of Txuspo Poyo

Azkuna Zentro - Granary Bilbao presents the exposure Anonymous of the 19 of February to the May 17th, an exhibition dedicated to Txuspo Poyo (Alsasua, Navarra, 1963). A multidisciplinary artist, throughout his career he has built a solid artistic body of work that combines languages and media such as film, video, photography or installation, in order to explore the intersections between culture, technology and politics.

His work stems from the hybridization between reality and fiction, science and myth, past and present, giving place to narratives visuals that invite to reflect about the links that generate the different forms of authority, the control mechanisms that derive from them and their impact on contemporary history.

Under the title Anonymous , the exhibition – the most complete to date about the artist– It alludes to popular knowledge inherited and passed down from generation to generation. This monographic exhibition explores a wide selection of artistic projects developed since the years ninety until the present, consolidating as the revision further extensive, profound and significant of his work.
