Bonart presents issue number 1 of its international edition in Mexico
Next Wednesday, December 3rd, Bonart will embark on a new international journey, taking it to Mexico, where it will officially launch the first issue of its international edition . The event will be held at the iconic Casa del Tiempo Cultural Center, a landmark for artistic and cultural dissemination in Mexico City.
This launch marks a significant step in the magazine's international expansion, further strengthening its commitment to globalization and building bridges between creative scenes in different regions. The event will feature a group of prominent participants who will offer diverse perspectives on the magazine, contemporary art, and the cultural dialogue between Catalonia and Mexico. Ricard Planas, director of bonart, will speak to explain the purpose of this new editorial phase and the magazine's aim to consolidate a global perspective through art criticism and dissemination.
Also participating will be Otto Cazares, philosopher, editor and artist, who will contribute a reflection on the Mexican cultural context and its intersections with international artistic production; Luz Masot, cultural manager, who will highlight the importance of generating collaborative networks and shared projects; and César Martínez.
The presentation at the Casa del Tiempo is envisioned as a space for exchange and celebration, where the public and speakers can discuss the challenges and opportunities of contemporary creation in an increasingly globalized context.
Bonart Internacional is a publication based in Catalonia that aims to promote and disseminate contemporary art, with a particular focus on Latin America. During the presentation, the magazine's contents will be unveiled, with special emphasis on the cover artist, César Martínez, who is the subject of a monograph with text by curator Glòria Maldonado Ansó. The event will include a performance piece involving food.
