Every autumn, from November 21 to 23, Luxembourg City transforms into a hub for contemporary art. Since its inception in 2015, Luxembourg Art Week (LAW) has steadily gained prominence on the European art scene thanks to its ability to balance established artists with emerging voices, becoming an essential event for both industry professionals and the general public.
The fair takes place in a temporary structure located in the central Plaza Glacis, where regional and international galleries converge in two main sections. The Main Section brings together galleries with established reputations, while Take Off focuses on emerging spaces and experimental projects. This second area, characterized by more accessible prices, helps to revitalize art collecting and attract new audiences.

Beyond the exhibition of artworks, LAW stands out for its comprehensive cultural program that expands the artistic experience. Lectures with specialists (Art Talks), performances, and the popular Art Walk—an urban route that dots the city with monumental sculptures and interventions in empty shop windows—allow art to engage with public space and for the fair to transcend its physical boundaries.
Over the years, Luxembourg Art Week has established itself as a driving force for the Luxembourg art scene and an international showcase for artists from diverse backgrounds. Among the participating galleries, Victor Lope Arte Contemporáneo, based in Barcelona, stands out. This year, they are presenting works by Carsten Beck, Mario Dilitz, Patrik Grijalvo, Malgosia Jankowska, and Jacinto Moros, reinforcing Spain's presence at the fair. The Barcelona gallery opened Malgosia Jankowska's exhibition, "Where Dreams Dwell," on November 13th, which will be on view until December 5th.

With its combination of exhibition quality, accessibility and public programming, Luxembourg Art Week reaffirms its role as one of the most stimulating events on the European art calendar.
