The Tower of Hercules hosts the generative art exhibition "Everything Flows, Nothing Dies" by digital artist MAOTIK, featuring a stunning intervention in an iconic location in the city. The French artist's proposal transforms the lighthouse into an immersive lighting and audiovisual spectacle using light, movement, and organic images that combine to create and reimagine the poetics of nature's eternal flow.

MAOTIK is Mathieu LeSourd, a French digital artist who creates immersive environments and interactive experiences based on generative art and real-time data, merging art, science, and technology. His work from A Coruña, on view until August 31, delves into the relationship between the functionality of lighthouse light as a guide and its expressive capacity in contemporary art.

The installation "Everything Flows, Nothing Dies" is curated by Hito Cultura & Tecnología and consists of four screens located in the Tower's different chambers. It is part of the Tower's 16th anniversary as a World Heritage Site. MAOTIK's installation is a reminder that while forms and states may change, the essence remains.

His work has been presented at international festivals and institutions around the world, including Mutek, Sonar, Oi Futuro in Rio, Art Basel, Frieze London, FIAC Paris, Signal Festival in Prague, British Film Institute in London, ARS Electronica in Linz, Miraikan Science Museum in Tokyo, B39 in Seoul, Funkhaus in Berlin, La Biennale in Venice, Fondation Serralves, W1 Curates, CCCB and Philharmonie in Paris.

Tradition and avant-garde merge and blend at the Tower of Hercules in A Coruña in this exhibition. This is the oldest Roman lighthouse in the world; it now takes on an expressive role within the digital arts, a growing discipline in the global art world.
