Today, Sunday, December 29, the second season of the podcast INCLASSIFICABLES , presented by Ricard Planas and David Escamilla , premieres its eighth episode on the 3CAT (Catalunya Ràdio) platform. In this episode, they will talk from the Alfolí de la Sal Museum (L'Escala) with the unclassifiable artist Gino Rubert , generator of disturbing characters that question us, and Martí Guinart , first deputy mayor and councilor for Culture of the L'Escala City Council.

What lies behind the human figures that Gino Rubert captures in his paintings? How has his vision of painting evolved and what led him to unite eroticism, fragility and death in his work?

In this episode, Gino Rubert will talk to us about the influences that have shaped his artistic vision, from his childhood summers in Mexico to his first contacts with art through his uncle. Questions about the new woman and the new man, Eros and Thanatos, gender roles and the necessary revolutions that transform society and art are also part of this dialogue.

These reflections are set in the context of l'Escala, a municipality that is firmly committed to contemporary art. The Alfolí de la Sal Museum , awarded since its inception, is one of the institutions that promotes this vision, while initiatives such as the Primavera Scholarships and the Muses contemporary art exhibition bring art closer to the public, establishing a dialogue between heritage and new creation.
