Next Sunday, November 3, the second season of the INCLASSIFICABLES podcast, presented by Ricard Planas and David Escamilla , premieres its fourth episode on the 3CAT (Catalunya Ràdio) platform. In this chapter, they will talk with the unclassifiable painter, sculptor and ceramist Santi Moix , a Catalan creator with a global dimension, and with Emmanuel Guigon , director of the Picasso Museum in Barcelona, who will share the constant challenges of an internationally successful museum.

This episode, which will be broadcast from the Picasso Museum in Barcelona itself, located in a 13th-century Gothic palace, offers us an insight into Moix's creative world. How is Moix's work linked to nature and his childhood memories? And how has living in cities like New York or countries like Japan and Africa influenced your artistic vision and your constant dialogue with your origins? It seems that for Moix, this look back is an engine that pushes him towards new horizons, even in his connection with Picasso, who was a point of reference at the beginning of his career.

The chapter also opens a window into Moix's fascination with drawing as a means of expression, a form of immediate and direct visual writing, as Picasso also understood it. Likewise, another key element of Santi Moix's creative universe will be highlighted: ceramics. His work with this material has allowed him to reconnect with ancient techniques and better understand the artists of the past, from a return to the origins that he sees as necessary to move forward, a process that Picasso himself explored. However, how can this personal search of Moix be connected with the work of a museum like the Picasso Museum, dedicated to one of the most influential artists in history? Emmanuel Guigon will share his vision on the constant challenges of a museum with an international reach like that of Barcelona and on how they work to keep alive the connection with Picasso, preserve his heritage and continue studying him from different perspectives, to offer - it to visitors from all over the world.

This episode of INCLASSIFICABLES invites us to reflect on beauty, collaboration with other artists and artisans, the relationship between nature and art, and its social dimension, with a Santi Moix who defies categories and reminds us that art it is a way to observe the world in which we live.
