Núria F. Rius

He is a member of the Research Group on Contemporary Art and Design History (GRACMON) of the University of Barcelona and the History of Photography European Network. As a researcher, she has mainly focused on the study of the introduction and normalization of photographic culture in Catalonia and Spain in the 19th century. In addition, he has published monographic texts about other photographers, such as Heribert Mariezcurrena and the Frenchman Franck de Villecholle.
He has developed research through predoctoral and postdoctoral stays abroad, such as the Sorbonne University, New York University and the Photographic History Research Center at Montfort University in Leicester, in addition to having exhibited it in several international congresses at the University of Porto, Queen Mary University of London, Montfort University of Leicester and the International Association of Photography and Theory of Nicosia.
