From Seoul to Miami, by way of Berlin, Paris, London, New York, Venice, and Abu Dhabi, the last four months of the year see the peak activity in the international art market. Collectors, gallery owners, artists, curators, and industry professionals travel the world following a calendar that brings together the most influential fairs in contemporary art, design, photography, and antiques.

Between September and December, major cultural capitals host essential events that not only reflect market trends but also become meeting places for discovering new talent, solidifying careers, and generating business opportunities. This is a tour of the major events that will define the international arts season.

SEPTEMBER: the big start to the season

The season kicks off in Asia with Frieze Seoul and Kiaf, which will transform Seoul into a major hub of the art market from September 2nd to 6th. The combination of one of the most prestigious international art fairs and the historic Korean International Art Fair confirms the growing prominence of the Asian continent.

From September 9 to 13, Berlin Art Week will transform the German capital into a grand stage for contemporary art through exhibitions, openings, urban interventions and activities organized by museums, galleries and cultural institutions.

Paris will take over with Fine Arts Paris, from September 19 to 23, a benchmark event for ancient art, drawing, decorative arts and high specialization.

New York will host The Armory Show from September 24 to 27, one of the most influential art fairs in the United States, recognized for bringing together established international galleries alongside emerging artists.

The month will conclude with the prestigious Florence International Biennial of Antiques, which will be held from September 26 to October 4 at the historic Palazzo Corsini, considered one of the world's major events for the antiques and classical art market.

OCTOBER: Europe's absolute prominence

The month will kick off with Art Verona, from October 9 to 11, dedicated especially to modern and contemporary Italian art.

London will once again become one of the great epicenters of the market thanks to PAD London, from October 13 to 18, specializing in historical and contemporary design, decorative arts and collecting.

Almost simultaneously, from October 14 to 18, Frieze London and Frieze Masters will be held, a double event that brings together the most innovative proposals in contemporary art alongside masterpieces from the history of art, consolidating the British capital as one of the essential destinations for international collectors.

Paris will experience an intense week of art with an extraordinary concentration of events. Design Miami Paris will be open from October 20 to 25, followed by Paris Internationale from October 21 to 25, a leading platform for emerging galleries. From October 22 to 26, Asia Now, dedicated to contemporary Asian art, will take place.

The grand finale will be Art Basel Paris, from October 23 to 25, considered one of the most important fairs on the international calendar and one of the main drivers of the European market.

The program will begin with Artissima, in Turin, which will take place between October 30 and November 1, established as one of the most innovative European fairs in artistic research and discovery of new creators.

Germany will host Art Cologne, from November 5 to 8, the oldest contemporary art fair in the world and a benchmark for European collecting.

New York will once again be at the center of the market between November 11 and 14 with New York Art Week and major international auctions, crucial weeks for gauging the economic pulse of the sector.
