Until 3 July, the Museu d'Art Jaume Morera is extending the Encreuaments exhibition, which exhibits new additions to its collection, thanks to the Generalitat de Catalunya's work deposits corresponding to the latest purchases in the National Plan. of Photography and the Integral Plan of the Visual Arts. In recent years, the museum has formulated and participated in the acquisition proposals made within the framework of the calls derived from the application of the National Photography Plan and the Comprehensive Visual Arts Plan to enrich the national collections.
In the field of photography, there are six acquisitions of authors linked to the lands of Lleida and from purchases made in the last three years (2019-2021). This set consists of photographs by Palmira Puig, Toni Prim, Jordi V. Pou, Santi Iglesias, Espe Pons, and Paula Artés. In the field related to contemporary art, the acquisitions corresponding to the National Collection of Contemporary Art, which have been deposited in the museum since 2018, are also presented. In this case, 39 works by Lluís Trepat, Albert Coma Estadella, Àngel Jové, Carles Hac Mor, Antoni Abad or Albert Bayona, Olga Olivera-Tabeni, Martin Llavaneras, Pol Merchan, Joan Pallé or Antoni Pinent, Nora Ancarola, Carles Pujol , Mar Arza, David Bestué, Enric Farrés Duran, Núria Güell, Pere Llobera, Marina Núñez and Rubén Verdú.
